§01
What you are paying for
The Autonomy Permit™ is a coverage product, not software you keep. Its value is the risk we carry on your behalf over each period and the tamper-evident Consequence Record we maintain of your system's decisions and their real-world outcomes. Once a period of coverage has elapsed, that service has been delivered and cannot be returned — the same principle that governs insurance and surety bonds.
§02
7-day cooling-off (full refund)
If you activate a permit for the first time and cancel within 7 days — before you have relied on it in the real world (no incident filed, no public trust page shared, no certificate or audit exported, not listed in the Verified Directory) — we will refund the base fee in full, no questions asked. This is the one true "changed my mind" refund.
§03
Cancellation after cooling-off
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and your coverage remains active through the end of the current paid period — you keep what you paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a period, because the coverage was live for that time.
§04
Non-refundable items
Activation and onboarding fees, coverage-tier upgrades already in force (Enhanced / Premium), and any monthly residual period that has already begun are non-refundable, because the associated risk was live.
§05
We always make these right
Duplicate charges, billing errors, and any permit that was charged but never granted or provisioned are refunded in full, promptly, without a cooling-off requirement. If we billed you for coverage you never received, that is on us.
§06
What does not trigger a refund
A refund is not owed because your own system had an incident, your safety score dropped, or your permit lapsed or went past-due. In those cases the coverage did exactly its job — it recorded what happened. The record standing behind you is the product working, not failing.
§07
Organizations & enterprise
For team and enterprise relationships we may, at our discretion, offer credit toward future coverage in place of a cash refund. This keeps your history intact and your systems continuously covered.
§08
How to request
Email billing@centertron.com from the account owner's address with your permit ID and the reason. Approved cooling-off and error refunds are processed to the original payment method; card refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear. Every refund we issue is logged to your permit's history and sealed into the Consequence Record.
